Hey everyone! I’m Dawn Ingalls, Talent Development Consultant at Avera Health. For the past several years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a Board Member with Employment Disability Resources. I’m deeply passionate about this organization because it offers vital employment resources for both employers and individuals with disabilities.
Some disabilities, like mental health conditions, might not be immediately visible. With May being Mental Health Awareness Month, EDR plays a crucial role in helping employers understand the needs of individuals with mental health disabilities. I firmly believe that with proper education and awareness, we can break down barriers and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health challenges in the workplace. I’m committed to continuing my service with this incredible organization and promoting the
employment of people with disabilities.

Hey everybody, I’m Dawn Ingalls. I’m a talent development consultant with Avera Health in Sioux Falls. I’m also a member of the Employment Disability Resource Board and have been for the past six years.
Six years ago when asked to be on the board, I said yes without hesitation. I have been a human resource professional for my entire career and wholeheartedly believe in the mission and the service that employment disability resources provides to both job seekers and employers.
We help to make that connection so that our job seekers with disabilities can find wonderful employment opportunities in our community.
Especially right now, we have critical, a critical workforce situation in our community. We don’t have enough people to fill the needs that we have In our organizations and so to match up and make the connection for those job seekers with disabilities, finding wonderful opportunities to work and provide ultimate great service in roles that we have available in our community is just a invaluable connection.
Our organization provides resources to both job seekers and to employers in our area.
