As Assistant Director of Health Connect of South Dakota, Herman is passionate about building healthier communities by connecting people, organizations, and resources. Her work focuses on developing collaborative partnerships, managing community health initiatives, supporting Community Health Workers, writing grants, and leading projects that improve access to health and social services across South Dakota. Herman earned a B.A. from Augustana University and a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from Ball State University. She became a certified ADA Coordinator in 2021 and is a member of the ADA Trainer Leadership Network. Herman believes lasting change happens when organizations work together. Whether coordinating statewide initiatives, developing innovative community programs, or supporting local partners, she is committed to helping individuals and communities reach their full potential through connection, collaboration, and compassionate leadership.
